Common Questions

What colors are the Bridesmaids wearing?

Bridesmaids are wearing Hunter/Forest green, so ideally (unless you’re a Bridesmaid) stay away from green on Saturday.

Green is totally allowed for events on Thursday, Friday, and Sunday. Just pick any other color for Saturday’s events.

What will the weather be like?

In Dallas, the average temperatures for March are mid-70s during the day and 50s at night.
About a third of the days in March have some rain.

Will we be indoors or outdoors?

The Welcome Party (Friday night) & Farewell Breakfast (Sunday morning) will be a mix of indoor and outdoor space. All other events are indoors.

Can I bring my kids?

We politely request no children. We love your little ones, but we would like to keep this weekend to adults only. Your RSVP will specify who is invited.

Can I bring a guest?

As much as we would love to include everyone, please check your invitation for specific names.

What time is Check-in and Check-out at the Hotel?

Check-in is 3:00 pm. Check-out is Noon.

Will transportation be provided?

Yes, shuttles will be provided to/from the Fairmont to the Pickleball venue on Friday and to the Cathedral for the Ceremony on Saturday.

All other events take place at the Fairmont or at Museum Tower (4 blocks from the Fairmont).

Is there parking available at the Hotel?

For guests staying at the Fairmont, we highly recommend Uber or Lyft. (Overnight parking is $50/night + tax).

For people who live local and aren’t staying at the Fairmont, valet parking for the day is $24/day (on Friday or Saturday).

Feel free to look up alternative parking spots ahead of time (for example, SpotHero.com)

Is there parking available at the other events?

For people staying at the hotel, all the other events are either within walking distance or have shuttles available, so you don’t need a car.

For people who live in Dallas and plan on driving, yes - parking is free for the other events:

Thursday’s Mahjong event at Museum Tower,

Friday’s Pickleball venue at Pickleball Kingdom Dallas North,

Saturday’s Ceremony at the Cathedral Guadalupe, and

Sunday’s Farewell Breakfast at Museum Tower.

Help! I’m addicted to coffee. Where’s the closest Starbucks?

Great news! There is a brand new Starbucks on the first floor of the Fairmont. You don’t even have to go outside to get your fix.

What are the food options outside of the events?

On the first floor of the Fairmont, there’s a Starbucks, a restaurant, and a bar. The Fairmont also offers room service.
Outside of the hotel, there are multiple nearby food options within 3 blocks of the hotel, including the food trucks at Klyde Warren Park.
